EndPlasticSoup Action Day 2018

On June 2 at 10 am Boyan Slat received the Leonardo da Vinci prize in the Rijksmuseum. After the award ceremony, there was a debate with the audience, Andrew Makkinga, asked questions: how Rotary can help to end the plastic soup and plastic waste? More info and backgrounds on the Award can be found here: www.premioleonardo.eu.

Then all Rotarians went on boats and sailes!

Each of the 12 Rotary Clubs involved had a Plastic Whale boat and sails (possibly) with an extra own boat. WBoom.
