On this action day we take action to EndPlasticSoup around the world. The annual action day is organized for the 6th time this year.
4 juni Wereldwijde EndPlasticSoup Actiedag
Op 4 juni is de 5e Wereldwijde EndPlasticSoup Actiedag. Ook in Nederland zullen weer veel clubs in actie komen.
Rotary Action Day in Germany, Switzerland and Austria
Many Rotary clubs all over Germany, Switzerland and Austria held clean-up events for EndPlasticSoup all over the area as part of the Rotary Action Day on 21st May. Zaterdag 5 juni was het internationale EndPlasticSoup Action Day en wat was het een succes. Niet alleen in Nederland maar over de hele wereld kwamen heel veel Rotary, Rotaract en Interact met hun familie, vrienden, kennissen en plaatsgenoten in actie om aandacht te vragen voor het wereldwijde enorme plastic afval probleem. Boyan Slat, founder and CEO of The Ocean Cleanup, received the 44th International Leonardo Da Vinci Prize at the Rijksmuseum on Saturday June 2nd, 2018.
