Join the World Rivers Day conference supported by Rotary.
In the week before World Rivers Day a conference will take place regarding solutions to cleanup rivers and keep them clean. As we all know waterways like rivers not only bring lots of waste to our seas and oceans, the waste also pollutes our drinking water and endanger biodiversity. It is therefore important that Rotary takes the lead to accelerate solutions and policies to prevent and solve plastic pollution of rivers worldwide.
Please join the conference to learn more about advanced solutions and innovations for cleaning, detecting the source and recycling. The conference is supported by four Rotary Action Groups: WASHRAG, ESRAG, Rag for Peace, RAG for Community development, and two environmental projects: Clean Rivers of the World and EndPlasticSoup.
The first World Rivers Day at Rotary will hopefully inspire many clubs to start an action, adopt a river and/or start a project.
